Not only have I learnt a great deal of new information but I have also been refreshed on topics I thought I knew a good deal about. It has really made me start thinking about a lot of things and challenging my previous assumptions which I now have found to be ill advised.
I have benefited in taking the TORP it has given me an idea of the risks included in breaking the law for others. It has educated me on the law and how my actions can impact others. I will think about others before getting into a motor vehicle.
This has brought great awareness of the effects of an accident on other people around. I was already regretful for my actions but this has re-enforced the dangers associated with driving in general not just when drinking.
