I have benefitted from TORP in the following ways: more careful in how I handle a vehicle; there is no need to break the law in any capacity, it’s just not worth it.
This has been a massive benefit to myself on much I impacted people when I moved a vehicle after I was under the effect of alcohol.
I am more aware of the statistics of deaths and what can happen on our roads. I am more aware of others safety of our roads.
I have been reminded of the responsibility of driving a motor vehicle – not just for myself but for people in my car and on the road.

I have a better understanding of why drink driving is a crime. Alcohol impairs the brain. You have a slower reaction time and lack concentration and that is why they implement no alcohol in the system. I am sorry for any damage I caused to my family and others.
Yes, the program has been very helpful in terms of making me aware of the consequences of traffic offenses. It was particularly eye opening to learn of the impact on emergency services. I will certainly think of all the people impacted.
